托马斯·J·内契巴（Thomas Nechyba） 1994年毕业于罗切斯特大学，获经济学博士学位，目前任职于杜克大学，担任经济系系主任；同时他也是美国国家经济研究局的研究助理和德国慕尼黑大学经济研究机构的研究员，曾任教于斯坦福大学。他主要从事公共金融、联邦财政与教育经济学的研究，文章发表在Journal of Economic Perspective，Economic Theory，Journal of Political Economics等著名期刊上，他还担任区域科学与城市经济学、国际税收与公共财政等期刊的编委。内契巴教授长期从事微观经济学的教学，成绩斐然，曾获2004年南部经济学协会的杰出教学奖以及1995—1996年斯坦福大学商学院的卓越教学奖。
